Children's Programming
In addition to the excellent programming scheduled for the adults, we have organized 3 days of fun for the little and not-so-little ones. We have all-day access to the Americana indoor waterpark and arcade games room throughout the conference, and we have planned numerous outings and activities geared for each age group from 0-16. We will also have a dedicated supervised nursery room throughout the conference, and a variety of outings and programs arranged for children and teens.
Thursday:
Once you and your family arrive at the Americana for registration and start the first series of workshops, the children have the afternoon to explore the Waterpark, arcade area next to the Waterpark and large outdoor recreational areas connected to the Waterpark; we will even have inflatable bouncers set up outside for the kids! After dinner, we will have a live band and will host an outdoor movie night for children 0-9 (weather permitting) and karaoke by-the-pool for children 10+.
Friday:
After breakfast the children will separate into age groups for their activities while you and/or your spouse are attending the workshops/women’s outing. Little Lambs programming will be available for children 0-3 throughout the day, along with the nursery that is available throughout the entire conference, using rooms at the Americana Resort.
For children 3-9, we will be taking children to the Safari Niagara/Zooz for the day, where they get to ride the tram throughout the zoo with stops to see all the animals, have a picnic lunch and play at the splash pad.
For children 10+, we will be exploring the famous Clifton Hill next to the Falls. With so many attractions to discover just on this one famous street, we can’t even name them all! We will then take the children either on the Maid of the Mist or on the Journey behind the Falls, for a first-hand experience of Niagara Falls that can’t be beat.
All the children will return in the late afternoon in time to join you and your spouse for dinner and to swap stories, then it’s off to enjoy the evening programming. We have a special outing planned to visit the Greg Frewin Theatre show for all ages 10+, then after the show it’s a short walk to watch the Fireworks at the Falls. For the children 0-9 we will have a pajama party with lots of games and fun until your return in order to whisk your sleeping beauties off to bed.
Saturday:
The fun doesn’t end for the children on Saturday, even if the workshops are finished for the adults. After breakfast, the children will remain at the Americana Resort for Little Lambs programming, to enjoy the Waterpark and outdoor recreational areas before being reunited as a family to share in closing ceremonies before dismissal.
